This position allows me to recommend whatever I please without being beholden to any companies, reps, or brands. If a product I recommend happens to have an “affiliate” program in place, I will embed an affiliate link, which pays me a small commission if someone clicks through and purchases the item. This is how I make a living without cluttering my site with ads and WITHOUT sending out “sponsored posts,” which are advertisements masquerading as true editorial emails.
Specifically, I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. This helps me cover my costs for operating the website mostly.

The product reviews contained on this site and in the newsletters are mostly (but not always) based on my own experiences with that product and/or on conversations with friends or other parents who have actively used these products. This information is then checked thoroughly against unbiased, 3rd party reviews of other users from sites such as Amazon, Consumer Reports, trainingmask.com or other sources.
I never have and never will accept compensation from product manufacturers in exchange for favorable Reviews.
